As October draws to a close, a different kind of energy begins to stir in the city. A darker, more thrilling pulse takes over as London prepares for its most decadent night of the year. The question on everyone’s lips isn’t if they are going out for Halloween, but where. Forget the predictable haunted houses and crowded clubs. For one night only, the real heart of the city’s scene will be beating from deep beneath Cavendish Square.

On the 30th of October, we are unlocking the gates and inviting you to descend into Lucifer’s Lair.

We are taking our magnificent Grade II listed home and unleashing its darker, more seductive soul. The soaring Georgian ceilings will be draped in shadow, the grand halls will echo with a new, more mysterious rhythm, and the entire space will be re-imagined as an elegant underworld of temptation and glamour.

 

The vibe: dark glamour and a hypnotic soundtrack

Our resident DJs will be setting the energy for the night, spinning a hypnotic, late-night set from 8 pm until the early hours. We’re going for a vibe of pure dark glamour, and we’re inviting you to embrace the “Flair of Halloween”, a dress code that’s more about style than scares. Think Venetian masks, velvet capes, tailored suits with a gothic twist, or even couture creations fit for a modern-day monarch of the underworld. This is your chance to be as creative and stylish as you dare.
 

Cocktails and forbidden elixirs for London’s most exclusive Halloween party

 
At the heart of any temptation is a perfect poison. For Lucifer’s Lair, our master bartenders in the Kiyori Lounge have summoned a MENU of five specially designed elixirs, each a complex and bewitching creation:
 
  • Yamamba: An earthy and exotic tribute to the mountain spirit of its name. Ocho Plata tequila, infused with the deep sweetness of roasted pumpkin, is balanced by the smoky notes of Quiquiriqui Mezcal and the spiced warmth of sesame and cinnamon.

  • The Black Widow: A seductive and dangerous concoction. Mezcal provides a smoky base, while vetiver and a spiced coconut mango liquor add layers of unexpected, tropical darkness. It’s a drink that’s as mysterious as its namesake.

  • Whicke’s Brew Martini: Our tribute to the dark arts of cocktail making. Belvedere is infused with a rich cold brew, shaken with coffee liquor, and finished with a decadent, cloud-like hazelnut foam. A sophisticated, energising potion to fuel the night.

  • Eyeball-oki: A wicked and playful twist on a classic. Suntory Toki whisky and pisco are brightened with shiso and yuzu liquor, then given a vibrant effervescence with Prosecco. It’s a drink that looks back at you.

  • Chinoike (Non-Alcoholic): For those who prefer their temptation without the spirits. A complex and refreshing creation featuring a sesame and cinnamon yuzu sherbet, topped with a delicate cherry blossom soda.

For this single evening, we are creating a truly immersive world of dark glamour and decadent fun, designed for those who believe Halloween should be as stylish as it is seductive. The numbers are strictly limited, so make sure you book one of Halloween’s most sought-after tickets in advance.
